I grew up in Sunny Southern California and moved to the Omaha Nebraska area where I have been for the past 5 years. I’ve been married to my wife Michelle for the last 8 years and have 5 amazing kids from 7 years old to 1 year old. I grew up in a large family and started my career working at my Dad’s hardware stores from the day I was old enough to sweep floors and take out the trash. He taught me the importance of the principle of hard work that I have carried with me in my retail career and now into my financial planning career.
I was never taught anything about money and how it worked growing up and started my financial education by reading Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. After doing short stints at other planning firms I came to realize that the financial advice that is marketed to the masses isn’t designed to help people become financially free but instead designed to benefit the large financial institutions and Wall Street.
I love seeing my clients put the principles into practice and live to their full potential. It gives me a great feeling of accomplishment that I had a part in helping make it happen.
